I FINALLY figured out this blogging thing and how to add posts, edit, add photos (haven't QUITE mastered that yet, mind you) and otherwise manage this. I am wise beyond my ears. (that was on purpose).

Christmas is over - what a great time we had.

As usual, Christmas Eve was spent here with our daughter, Deb, son-in-law Steve and our two wonderful Granddaughters, Katie and Hailey! Much fun was had. We ate finger food, opened gifts, chatted and laughed. A great Christmas Eve! I got a Duck Butt - don't ask. Santa came by, along with his Filthy Elf and Ambrose the Amber Arsed Antelope. A Christmas Tradition in our house! What a wonderful thing to expose our children to...

Almost all of our family was here this year, 13 in all for dinner! The day started at Theresa and Ray's - thanks again for breakfast and everything! Then, we all either had stops to make or naps to have . Everyone reconvened at our place late in the afternoon, had drinks, chatted and ate an obscenely huge turkey dinner, with Ann's famous Cabbage Rolls, ham, my homemade Cranberry Sauce (I am the only one who eats it) and all the rest of the trimmings! Brother-in-law Jim and I were stuffing this huge bird at 5:30 in the morning and discovered we had no sage. No sage? No problem for Jim...he made a phone call to his sister - remember, this is 5:30 a.m. Christmas Day! - she met us at her door, handed over some sage, smile on her face and in her jammies...how kind is that? Back to stuff the bird. Somehow it all worked out perfectly...
