Time to catch up....

Well, hi. Again, it's been a long time but 8 months goes by so quickly. Who knew? Lots has been going on since my last update. We have been back and forth to the Kootenay's a few times and were finally able to find a house to buy, in December. We have spent the last three years looking and driving our Realestate agent out there nuts. We hope to be moving this coming summer. The winter this year has been especially brutal - more days of -50*c in our area, since the begining of weather record keeping. Brutal. We are far too old for this. Have I mentioned BRUTAL??
My angels are terrific - 11 years and 6 years old now...growing up fast. One still sticks her nose in a book and I don't hear a peep from her all day. The other one is the drama-queen who never shuts up. I have no idea where she gets that from. They are both doing well in school - very smart and enjoy learning. The book-worm is very artistic and the drama-queen is quite talented in theatrics. I do believe she is going to be an actress or some such thing.
Lily, Mim - I mean, Sylvia and Oreo are fine. They are all showing their age but Lily is probably showing it the most. She is quite senior for a White Shepherd...we took her to our new house for a week in January. She enjoyed getting out of this terrible winter...and every girl deserves a winter holiday. She loved her new house and the fabulous climate...
We have a new addition to our family...Dennis the feisty feline. Dennis is a SHE - make no mistake about that. She was my Dad's cat and came to live with us about a year and a half ago. My Dad liked to call her "Den", just to confuse us. She has adjusted very well to her new life and home and plays well with others. She loves to sleep in the linen closet, which is something that I have not been able to break her of...I doubt I ever will. She's pretty set in her ways.
I have discovered FACEBOOK - what a great way to track down out-of-touch friends and even find long-lost relatives...I have been having a blast on that and have been able to find cousins in other countries...terrific!
Well, I have to get my Drama-Queen to bed so, I'll talk to you later.
